What happens if my multi-touch is damaged?

In the unfortunate event that your Multi-Touch unit is damaged or mishandled, we will promptly work with you to figure out how to solve the problem. We will explore all options while working for a solution that works for you. If the damage is done by the courier service, we will have insured the service for this very reason, if an incident were to occur.

What is the lead time for a custom Multi-Touch unit?

The lead time start to finish or delivery for a custom Multi-Touch is around 4-6 weeks, variant upon other factors such as type and scale.

Are there any other options other than the designs provided?

Yes there are other options, as we can work with our team to explore new ideas and designs that are proposed by the client, and try to create a design tailored to their needs. We also provide Multi-Touch kits, for the ambitious do-it-yourselfer type of person, who wants a kit that contains nearly all of the components and all of the essentials needed to construct their own personal multi-touch. Skill with wood, metal, acyrlic, tools and general shop skills are needed and is reccommended for users who have access to tools and have proper safety equipment and procedures in place.

How simple is installation and maintaining my Multi-Touch?

Multi-Touch installation is simple and comes working out of the box if you ordered with the computer included. You simply power up the computer and the lcd and that's it. Maintenance is very low, with the most care towards the outer frame and the top acyrlic which may need to be wiped clean after frequent use.

OK - I want to buy, Now what?

We will walk you through the correct steps neccesary to get your order going. After we receive payment we will begin ordering all of the neccesary parts and start the fabrication process. Payment is via Wire Transfer or Paypal. We also accept cash and check at our office in Alexandria, Va.

What about software?

Since we are only a hardware provider and manufacturer, we do not provide custom tailored and licensed software. However, we do consult with our clients and can pair up the multi-touch of their choice with the necessary and correct hardware. We are affiliated with software companies and can optimally choose the correct software for your system - but you won't be buying it from us. It is also noted that for each of our complete systems we provide over 15 different Open Source software programs.
